How to be comfortable and look cute

College finals, colder days, and flu season; this is the time of year I see my biggest pet peeve..sweatpants and/or pajama bottoms in public. I hate it! I understand there are just some days where you would prefer comfortability over style, but trust me there are ways to make "dressing down" cute.

#1 Sweatpants Instead of grabbing for the sweatpants (or rather rolling out of bed) try going for something more stylish, like leggings under a long sweater or dress. Jeggings, which are a hybrid of jeans and leggings, are also comfty to wear. And if you absolutely must wear sweatpants, please please please go for a pair of yoga pants instead. They are more fitting, and a little less trashy.

#2 Bulky hoodies or sweatshirts. If you are plus sized and you dislike the bulk try rolling the cuffs of your sleeves up to expose a few inches above your wrist. If you want to avoid bulk (which I advise) wear a light weight sweatshirt under a jacket.

#3 Accessories. It only takes 2 seconds to put a scarf on or earrings in. If you do anything, do this. The right accessories can take any outfit (yes, even dressed down ones) up a level.

#4 Hair and Make-up. Consider wearing your hair pulled up, with stray strands framing your face. It will fem up your lazy-day look. If you don't want to apply a full face of make-up run your base brush and blush brush quckly over your face without touching the makeup. You always have left over powder on your applicators, it will be just enough for a highlight.

#5 Chic Glasses. Skip over your contacts and wear glasses! You don't have to worry about eye make-up or tired bags under your eyes. If you don't have glasses buy non-perscription frames. You can get them at accessory stores or even art supply stores.
